Aaarrrgghhhh! You've just ruined my day mate.

THANKS. A. LOT.

Honestly man, it really is astounding the regard he is held in on here like.

I'll never understand it and never will. The bloke oversaw the most humiliating period of being a Sunderland fan in my lifetime, he won more Premier League games at the Stadium of Light with Wolves than he did with us.

I reckon we should give that Steve Bruce a go, seems to be doing a good job at Hull and has a proven Premiership track record. Got a team to 10th iirc.

19 points is f***ing inept.

15 points is simply taking the piss.

15 is but lets be honest the 19 isn't down to him they were dead and long buried when he arrived.................

Alex ferguson couldn't have stirred like into that lot at that point.........

I've gone back and retrospectively "liked" every negative Mick McCarthy post on this thread so atleast i've done my bit anyway.

He couldn't even stumble across a point in that 19 point season so yes, you are right to suggest that total had nowt to do with him.

How the fucker's not banished from the City of Sunderland forever is beyond me, 'cos God knas the wonky nosed bastard deserves it.
Canny fella man Chris. Says it how it is and that.

They were finished man totally and utterly shot to bits..........all he did was inherit a total utter mess..............a f***ing team who had been "inspired" by being sat down to watch pictures of geese flying in formation..........

You attributed him the lot in the original post man.........

I did and i shouldn't have cos he contributed not a jot to that 19 point total. Not one point.

Not sure why it should be excluded from his CV mind seeing as he only went and trumped the seemingly untrumpable.

Aye he trumped summat that wasn't his doing or to put it another way he "bettered" Wilkinson...........

Had he kept us up and left under more normal cirumstances nobody would have ever mentioned him and the 19 pointers .......he gets tarred with that because of the 15 pointers...........

they were as dead as the proverbial dead parrot when he arrived.........adrenaline on toast wouldn't have sorted them out......

if Gus goes - its Sean Dyche for me. gets the best out of his players, team organised, positive attitude, ok with the media, some experience of the prem.

Good shout that, I've been very impressed with him over the last couple of years

Why would Allardyce come here?

You love him.

I agree that Allardyce would be an unlikely appointment and I'm not saying I'd want him here but if he leaves West Ham at the end of the season, which is looking likely, will he really have many better options than us? Obviously none of the top clubs will touch him, he'd be an awful fit at Swansea and Southampton, already been to Newcastle and got sacked and pretty much all the other clubs in the league are much of a muchness in terms of ambition and potential.

Nobody, Poyet is the man for the job. He was last season and he will be this season, patience is a virtue.[/QUOte

How long do you think we need to give him before we should be seeing his vision coming into play. I would of thought we would have seen some improvement by now but if anything we are a lot lot worse than last season.
