Nobody finds it offensive just the "glib-lib's" at the ad agency and their ilk. For them to ban something on the grounds of it causing offence is ridiculous beyond words considering some of the offensive shite we see on tv these days.
I notice that the F word and T word are used routinely on tv to shock and get a laugh. How long before the C word is allowed? Now that really is a case of "any need for it."

Ken Miller is a renowned biologist who has given evidence against having religion taught in American schools. He is also a serious Catholic.
Francis Collins is the head of the Human Genome Project and also a total faith head.

I never said "every one" so don't strawman me. You know there is serious organised noncing going on in the Catholic church and they do their best to cover it up.

In all seriousness, don't you think the church, if they are going to spend money on an advert, would be better off spending their money on one that promotes good Christian values of helping and accepting people, rather than just telling them to (selfishly) pray?

Iirc Miller also toured colleges, lecturing against he idea of Intelligent Design and testified in hearings in objection to having it taught in schools.

No idea. I have pointed out to various posters here that they shouldn't make up percentages and I don't intend to do that myself. I am off for a pint(s) now but will read your further thoughts on my phone if god lets my worthless self get a signal on my phone.

You can pray just to talk to God about your problems, you don't have to need anything, there's no rules about it which I suspect is the point of the advert.
