As far as they are concerned I think this is right. Didnt they kick up a fuss when this subject was mentioned and someone said that they would be prosecuted if they sang such songs?

He might of said a couple of daft throw away comments that you can't say nowadays, but as the bloke's 77 years old, he needs a bit of slack and understanding and not a persecution job.

Too many people jumping on any old comments just to express outrage nowadays. I remember a poster on here referring to black people as "coloured" and getting jumped on. Its not a big deal. If someone means offence then by all means criticise them but when its an innocent turn of phrase theres no need.

There was a time when if you called someone black it was considered racist so coloured was used - now its the other way round !
