Favourite Cheese

Why can't I find white Stilton any more? It's blue, or has cranberries or some other frigging fruit... But white, with a crisp apple (seperate - not in it!), is lovely.

Sell it in Morrisons at Seaburn.
Went to the Wensleydale Creamery earlier this year, it was sensational. They basically had so many samples it was all you can eat
Sounds weird but the Wensleydale and ginger root was superb.

Went a day cheesemaking course in Reeth last year. Was a good day out.

A very ripe Camembert, and a fresh Stilton. I love stinky cheese.
at room temp or warmer !
Fruit in cheese is an abomination. Those Christmas cheese boards always have them, I am convinced it's the only way they can sell enough of it.

Brie, Camembert, Gorgonzola, Stilton, St. Agur anything with a strong flavour really. Mature Cheddar is lush.

At the time I moved away south Red Leicester was my favourite from the limited range I had tried by the time I was 23, Cheddar, Cheshire, Double Gloucester, Wensleydale, Cottage, Edam, Dairylea and the Primula toothpaste. My Mam often gets Red Leicester in if I am up home though I don't ever buy it myself.
is red leicester not just cheddar with dye in it ?

I’m partial to a bit of a Vacherin when in season, but generally prefer harder, nutty cheeses.

We’ve got a raclette grill so I quite enjoy messing around with that as well.

And blue cheeses.

I like cheese.
