Middlesbrough season ticket prices

Think the club announced at a previous RAWA meeting that there would be 10% SC price increases for 3 years a while ago, we've definitely had at least 1 so far. Our prices have been reasonable for decades, but it's been hard for the club to justify raising them, I think as long as we keep improving they will sell them no problem.
i think one of the ways to improve it is to offer packages..

so..everyone that has a current season card can have that again at the same price (or a very modest ioncreased price)
BUT..

all of those people also get first dibs if they want to upgrade to a premium season ticket..which is what you get now plus some stuff..(maybe a shirt with each ticket or three upgrades a season or something)

Supporters at our place are starting to complain about these prices in the last 2 seasons. There's been very little in previous seasons.
The main gripe is the walk up prices and the new season ticket prices compared to renewals.
Mate of mine has just returned from living away. Decided to get season tickets for him and his family. Difference between what he had to pay compared to someone renewing £425 😳.
It doesn't encourage new season ticket holders .

Good for them, those prices are absolutely ridiculous.

Probably still climb up Gibsons arse for the 1st 30minutes

The prices are ridiculous- disgusting even, but maybe if they had 3/4k more at games they’d be lower. Always sell well in premier and v us.

But for me to say that is blaming the fans and I don’t,it’s the game itself quite literally being gone. Fans/customers an after thought

Gibson has been covering all the losses for the last 20+ years....its inevitable he is going to run out of money to keep the club going and being in the championship with no big sponsorship deals or huge money coming in from Sky the cost then unfortunately ends up going to the loyal supporters.

Red Faction - Ultras Boro - Group Statement Ticket Price Protest

Red Faction are refusing to accept the recent announcement that season ticket prices will be increasing once again.

Following the increase in ticket prices last season, the club had agreed that the group would be involved in discussions about this season's prices but this did not happen.

Furthermore, the Chairman has cancelled plans to meet with us to discuss this decision and explain why football fans in one of the most deprived areas of the country are expected to pay extortionate prices that exceed those of top Premier League sides.

To protest the fans being priced out of supporting their local team, Red Faction will be leaving the Riverside Stadium on the 30th minute of this Saturday's upcoming home fixture against Plymouth Argyle.

We are calling on fans who feel likewise from all areas of the ground to join us in this walk out to show the club what they will miss out on by exploiting the loyalties of the supporters.

The Boro fans have always been the heartbeat of this club but many will now be forced to give up following their team every week. The love we have for MFC is limitless but our bank accounts are not.

More actions will follow from the group should our voices go unheard. This is not a decision we have taken lightly but our hand has been forced.

Adult & Under 11 price isn't bad for 510. Don't they get a pint at every game too with their season card?

Red Faction Ultras, cringed so bad reading that. Presumably a bunch of kids with low employment prospects.

It would be interesting to know what % of our overall season ticket sales are concession ones. I wouldn’t be at surprised if the majority of season tickets sold are lower than our headline prices.

Just looking at your regular kids pricing and it’s high.

One of the reasons why football has done well despite the cost of living crisis is that clubs have priced kids sensibly and therefore it’s stood up well against other things (cinema etc).

Boro seems to have broke away from that and an adult and two kids in the North/south stand is now £45 a match.
Don't know about that like. It'll cost me from about £20-£25 for a family of 5 at the cinema.
Needs to happen imo.

How much extra will they receive from the new TV deal that means we'll probably play about 5 or 6 home games a season at 3pm on a Saturday?
