Red wine

Tonight I have broken a janiep rule and am drinking English red and it is rank.

Drinking a nice cleanskin South Australian Shiraz right now. Needed to decanter it to shed some of its heft.
It's a swarthy red and certainly has some stubble on its chin early on.
It's got quite a nose on it but I'm starting to really enjoy its company.

Never touch the stuff myself.
Red wine is the worst thing in the world for causing bad heads.
It's down to the amount off Tyramine and Hystamine in the type of grapes used to make it

Wine snobs are my pet hate.
I put them on about the same level as mags.

Ouch, as bad as that eh?
When you reach a year when your balls drop I guarantee you will change your mind, chin chin

I'm yet to find a particularly great South African red. They're usually decent but never had one where I've had to re-read the label and go and buy some more. Argentina has been consistently good with reds for a while.

@dangermows - do you live near a coop ? They have a surprisingly good selection of wines. If you get a Times on A Saturday you'll notice they invariably have one in the wines of the week. In the 'affordable' range anyway.
