I can't post the link to the article from my phone, but Eddie Jones has apparently said he would be interested in the England job if it were to suddenly become available. Thoughts?

Personally, I think he would be a great choice. A man who knows how to use the players available to him in the most effective way possible. He also likes attacking rugby, which would suit our pool of players perfectly. Get him signed!

My thoughts are that it'd be interesting... as he's signed a contract to be the Stormers' coach after the World Cup. Can't imagine they're happy with him saying he'd be interested in f***ing off before he's started

Interesting, he had his detractors when he was Australia coach but did a really good job with them imho, he was involved in South Africa winning in 2007 and the job he's done with Japan is very impressive.

As a man he's made of the right stuff as well, doesn't let it bother him if he's getting pelters

I'd take him if he was available. We've tried the unproven English coach route since 2004 and it's got us nowhere

I'm going to Canada v Romania this afternoon!

Saw the Canada squad in Sainsburys in Leicester last Friday (ooh look at me shopping in Sainsburys...pathetic!) and was surprised how small they appeared to be. Didn't look that way when they played France.

£15 tickets for what might be a reasonably competitive game of rugby

Try to think of it as the final chapter of an old book, or an old dog being put out of its misery. Things are about to change (I f***ing hope).
I feel for burgess. He appears to be being made the scapegoat for te shambolic preparation for this wc

Interesting article from Brian Moore.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ru...hange-without-any-thought-of-the-effects.html

Suggests considering Robshaw as a six, focuses on areas of improvement and stays off who should step down or be sacked/dropped.

Also reading in another article, Will Fraser of Saracens is being mentioned as a possible 7 for England, but he's had a lot of injuries...
Robshaw a problem is he's not an out and out 6 or 7

I'd like to see Lawes and Launchbury back in the second row and Itoje at 6. Then look for a specialist 7 and a proper front row whose first job is stability in the set piece
