Good points. It's also easier for innocent bystanders to wash water off their designer coats and the young kids won't smell of stale beer when they return to school on Monday.

Not sure what the outcome will be for you 5 year old but it's good to see that you're bringing him up well.

If i was being a bit dramatic I suppose they could panic some people if used in a confined space like a concourse, although kids being kids, most of them no doubt think its great.

Why do the people who let off these devices always throw them, why don't they pull the pin or whatever, put it on the ground and watch the display that they've created?

It'd be more impressive if they tipped red dye or powder all over themselves then self immolated.
