Thought the best person won like. Can't remember him ever making a bad dish all the way through actually.

He did seem hugely emotionally involved in it though. Hopefully this will lead to the career he's been after.

I enjoyed the series though the extremes some restaurants go to to be different is getting silly. the ones on Thursday were one which makes up the menu depending on what they've got in and one which doesn't use gas or electric, just does everything with fire. What next? somewhere where they blindfold the chef and you get whatever he gets from the stove to the plate? or somewhere with cupboards full of blank tins and they open 3 at random??

my granny was an amazing cook. made the best mealy pudding you've ever tasted and she done in with the coal fire, where there was a plate and oven connected next to the fire
