Hi everyone

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the fans who made the trip to Doncaster tonight! It was fantastic support from the Sunderland fans and was great to see so many fans.

Also a personal thank you from myself to all the people who came to say hello and for a chat it was a pleasure to meet you all!

Sunderland fans travelling to see their team in numbers? No need for the "thank you" stuff.... Get a grip.

Doncaster Rovers Supporters Liaison Officer (IIRC). Posted a thread yesterday explaining stuff, giving options where to eat drink, travel etc. Seems a pretty reasonable idea seeing as I never recall it being done by a club official previously on here.

Very much enjoyed the trip tonight, as did my 10yo son. The staff outside the ground were great, very friendly. Just little things like helping with directions and saying hello makes a big difference. Impressive facilities too, and really impressed with the way your team played.

Disappointed that boss steward insisted on taking the beach ball away. Hope the steward who threw the ball back doesn't really get sacked in the morning.
 
Result (and various aspects of the performance) aside, I enjoyed my trip to Doncaster. Staff were canny, seemed a decent club. Didn't really see any of their fans like but that was mainly because we took a wrong turn, struggled to find the ground and missed kick off so weren't there in time for a pint. Motorway being shut on the way home wasn't ideal either. Still a good trip though
