I was exaggerating stating NO defensive duties as I think that there is far too much emphasis put on our attacking players to defend. I should have said LIMITED defensive duties.

No wing backs, with a flat back three. Larsson and Catts to basically patrol the "perimeter" and ensure no fucker gets past them, effectively making it a 5-0-5 formation, when defending. Johnson given a free role in the middle behind the strikers.

Imo that would increase our attacking threat alot in our side.

Cattermole would take Bridcutts place when he is fit ofc. Maybe even play Gomez there aswell..

In a fairness at least he has included proof that it has been played before in a fairly successful international side.

Unlike rodwell at centre half, gletcher in midfield or cattermole in the hole behind the front two, aĺlll of which have been suggedted by the glue sniffers on here.
