Man city won the league with last kick of season as well or they'd have finished second.
Does the final position only count if it's done emphatically?
We finished tenth under Bruce and it remains the third best finish in over 50 year! FACT!
Youre just being an arsey cu nt mate.

For all of the stick he now gets, Bent was the best get out of jail card we have had for 20 years.

It just shows you how clueless some of the pillocks running the club are, an intrinsic part of the 'Business' sold and nor replaced, f***ing idiotic.

We have gone backwards ever since.
weve not gone forwards thats for sure.

It could be a good indicator towards performance, if you end up in a clutch of teams on the same / similar points it's not convincing.

We were not particularly strong that season, and have not been since.

The Man City point you make ignores the fact that they were not bumping along near the arse end of the table for a good part of the season, as is the norm with us.

Bruce had an advantage not seen by Mon or Di Canio / Poyet, at that point we were signing players who actually enhanced the squad, I was surprised just how ambitious we appeared to be. Bruce should have maximised the potential of the squad at that time.

He dismantled as quick as he assembled, and now Ellis appears to have retired the golden tit.

Pretty sure that Cattermole is the only player from our 2010/11 squad who is still at the club. Apart from O'Neill, our turnover of players has been incredible under every manager we've had since promotion.
