I can understand why people don't like or get them like.
Heavy has probably changed with all of the pro tools and that which are about now. They still are, or were heavy though.

Nee groove. Heavy needs groove in my opinion. They're more thrashy. I don't do thrash.

Not really. I've listened to 'em once or twice. I had an enjoyable car journey listening to them very loud once. I think Mick (that's his name innit?) Slipknot must be a fan though - every other riff is Walk sped up.

They're heavier like. They get it. Nice big meaty sound*, and less of the thrashy nonsense and tinny drums.

*Tad surprising giving Dimebag's choice of equipment anarl.
