round swanley down towards otford then back up through eynesford. Looking at your strava for some ideas and it appears you have cycled past my house!!
ha ha :) the eynesford route is a popular one for me. Bromley-hayes-keston-titsey-pilgrims-bottom of star hill-eynesford-crockenhill-Orpington-Chislehurst. About 70km .

the 100km route for me is nice. woldingham towards lingfield, edenbridge, hever, toys and in.

the rides around the north downs here I usually do about 1000m in 100km.....thought that was pretty normal.
Plenty of hills to be had here ... are you going to enter the hill climbs in the next week or two? White Lane (the one off Titsey) and Yorke's Hill (off the back of Ide Hill). I'll cheer you on :D

my boss is encouraging me to but I'm off to Dubai next weekend sadly. not really in tip top condition either to be honest.

I find crockenhill lane from eyensford a killer for some reason, its only about 50m ascent

Are you in a club? going to join one for next year but not sure which one and would welcome any recommendations

David Millar is in ... so I'll have a bobble up to see the knackers;

Catford CC have their main climb round the downs somewhere, supposed to be a good day

I love that climb out of eynesford. find it really satisfying. have you tried brasted hill? that is a kernt.

I need to mate. Woolwich cc ride out of Bexley which is annoying. probably have to settle for Greenwich tritons.

Aye - that's the York's Hill one - same day ... Catford morning and Bec afternoon;

Dulwich Paragon CC are always out around here, I'm not a club type rider, but I assume their size mwans that you'll have all standards and more choice of rides;

I'm not a club type...but speaking to many that are there are generally loads of different speeds and groups and riders never left on their own...

Have to find one with rapha kit mind..

:lol::lol:
You should tag along with a chain gang one Sunday morning and then start shouting at them about not paying car tax and telling them to get off the road!

out with the missus a few weeks back( she's a c nut as well btw ;)) and we overtook some lad in full castelli kit but on a mountain bike....minutes later he came past us, looked as though he was working flat out, we passed him again later, and again past he came, this happened 3 or 4 more times !
Kristina reckons blokes just have a problem with a bird passing them.

Me and Oswald had a wheel sucker the other week...pissed me off so I stopped and pretended I'd punctured..twat

I do this to full kit nobs who keep passing me at lights after I've sailed past them on the straights. also half wheel them too.

tritons is easiest for me. meet at the tea hut on Blackheath although they are strictly a tri club.
